| Know Yourself What is a Human? A human is, at this point in time, God's most magnificent living physical design. A human is an incredible composite of a physical body and a human spirit that together make up an intelligent human being made in the image of God. When the physical body and human spirit are in active dynamic equilibrium with the physical environment, an intelligent mortal living human soul is the result. The first human being made in God's image was called Adam. Adam initially was from both Mars and Venus and had both male and female qualities. KJV Genesis 5:2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. I do not know how the sexual organs, if any, were set up. Adam, like any man, had 46 chromosomes including a y and an x chromosome which are associated with male and female sexual characteristics. When God cloned Eve from Adam, He/She also gave her 46 chromosomes including two x chromosomes but no y chromosome. The physical, emotional and intellectual female characteristics were taken out of Adam and given to Eve. NKJ Genesis 2:20-25 So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him. 21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. 22 Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. 23 And Adam said: "This is now bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man." 24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. 25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. Adam lived an unknown length of time, first before God made the Garden of Eden and then in the Garden of Eden where God brought all of the animals to Adam in order to first decide on a name for each of them and then to look for a suitable mate for Adam, before Eve was made for him on the sixth day. It is possible that when Adam and then Eve were made that they each could have been created at any physical age from a child to a fully mature adult. Mentally they would have to be babies first and then children as they began to learn the things all new humans must learn. There are no real shortcuts to this process. There is no indication that they were given instant knowledge, understanding and wisdom. God, as the mother and father, was responsible for their care and education. They were probably allowed to mature and develop there language abilities normally. Adam was probably a physically mature adult before Eve was made from part of his body, probably from a sperm cell with an X chromosome. Both Adam and Eve, with their separate God designed physical, emotional and intellectual characteristics, biology, needs, drives and desires, were judged by God to be absolutely good without any need to cover up any body parts or functions that God's adversary would later convince them to be ashamed of. Human beings are all unique and yet they have many common characteristics. Because of this God is able to predict individual and group behavior even though every human is given free will. Humans are initially self centered and selfish because their own sensory input and perspective is all that they initially know and understand. This selfishness does not come from an inherent evil inclination. It is not until they recognize other humans are like them and yet still choose to be selfish that this becomes bad and evil thought and behavior. Humans are made in the image of God, but like Adam and Eve, they generally reject righteousness through faith in God and choose to submit to only their own needs and desires or to emulate the character of the adversary, pride and self-righteousness. This is easily seen in the two extreme lifestyles of humans that have been around since Adam and Eve, hedonism and self-righteous asceticism. The adversary is thrilled if a human chooses either way. Hedonistic humans tend to think that whatever brings them pleasure is good regardless of the cost to others. Self-righteous ascetic humans, like the adversary, because of their pride, they believe they can attain their own righteousness through their superior dead efforts and works. The adversary wants humans to believe that all of physical creation is morally inferior and their sexual anatomy and need for sexual pleasure are prime examples of their shameful and evil carnality. Humans think this shame and guilt comes from the creator God but it really comes from the adversary who hates everything the Creator God has made in the physical domain and Her/His purpose for making them.. |
